Chittoor district police held an overnight 'Palle Nidra' session in Ammepalle village to boost trust and safety awareness. Nearly 200 villagers joined discussions on crime prevention and community issues.
Amaravati, March 01, 2026: Chittoor police rolled out their district-wide 'Palle Nidra' initiative with an overnight stay and interaction programme at Ammepalle village in Puthalapattu mandal on February 28.
Circle Inspector D. Gopi led the effort, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi and Additional SP Rajasekhar. Around 200 local residents, including school children from nearby Rangampeta, took part in the community engagement.
