Amaravati, March 01, 2026: A prominent Telugu scholar and spiritual orator, Garikapati Narasimha Rao, reignited the long-standing call to rename Andhra Pradesh as ‘Telugu Naadu’ during his inaugural address at the third World Telugu Conference (Telugu Prapancha Mahasabha) held in Amalapuram on February 28.

Organised by Godavari Global University in Rajamahendravaram, the event drew literary figures, dignitaries including Odisha Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu and Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu, and cultural leaders.
