Amaravati, February 28, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the Andhra Pradesh government aims to complete housewarming ceremonies for over 10 lakh families by the end of 2026.
This forms part of a broader push to provide homes for the poor, with over three lakh houses already handed over.
Speaking in the Assembly during discussions on housing and agriculture budgets, Naidu outlined clear milestones: around three lakh housewarmings by Ugadi, 2.26 lakh more by June, and 2.10 lakh by September.
