Vijayawada, February 27: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu encouraged school students visiting the Assembly to actively enter politics.
He stressed that youth should expand their horizons past personal goals like studies, employment, and family to contribute through political engagement for broader societal progress.
The appeal came during an interactive session under the AP Assembly Knowledge Tour in Vijayawada. Students from schools across the state, including 120 from Rishi Valley School in Narsipatnam, participated.
Over the past ten days, thousands have joined such tours to learn about democratic processes firsthand. Students expressed excitement at experiencing legislative workings early in life.
