Newsroom, February 26, 2026: Kanduri Srinivasacharyulu, Agama advisor for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and senior priest at Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanur, delivered a lecture in Tirupati on Prayaschittha Vidhanam the process of atonement in the context of Pavitrotsavam, a key purificatory festival under Sri Pancharatra Agama.

He explained that these scripted expiatory rites correct ritual omissions or undesirable acts, ensuring temples remain pure as per ancient doctrines.

The session formed part of a Vaishnava Agama lecture series hosted by IGNCA's Tirupati regional centre with National Sanskrit University. Scholars, priests, and devotees attended.
