Amaravati, February 26, 2026: The five-day annual Teppotsavams, a cherished float festival, began at the sacred Swami Pushkarini in Tirumala.
On the opening day, devotees witnessed the utsava murthy of Sri Sita Rama, Lakshmana, and Anjaneya glide across the illuminated tank on a beautifully decorated two-tier float for three ceremonial rounds.
Vedic chants, nadaswaram, and percussion filled the air as large gatherings lined the banks, soaking in the devotional atmosphere under glowing lights and cut-outs of divine forms.
