Amaravati, February 26, 2026: Authorities at the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam organized a special free Sparsha Darshan for Chenchu tribal communities on the last Wednesday of the month.

Chenchu men and women from hamlets across Palnadu and surrounding areas arrived in traditional dress, performed vibrant folk dances, and played tappeta drums as part of the cultural celebration before receiving direct darshan of Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba.

Temple officials arranged free accommodation, meals, breakfast, and Annaprasadam for the visitors. This ongoing initiative, started on Vaikunta Ekadasi in December last year, recognizes the Chenchu people's deep spiritual connection the community views Lord Mallikarjuna as “Chenchu Mallanna” and the Goddess as their daughter.

Officer M. Srinivasa Rao reaffirmed the temple's commitment to smooth access for all while preserving indigenous heritage.
