Amaravati, February 26: Former chief minister and YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took part in the consecration ceremony at Sri Nandeeswara Swamy temple in Nandipalli, Vempalle mandal, Pulivendula constituency, on February 25.
He participated in Vedic rituals, homams, and the installation of new idols for Sri Maha Nandeeswara Swamy and Sri Parvathi Devi. Jagan offered prayers in traditional attire and received blessings from priests.
He praised temple trust board chairman M. Srikanth Reddy for the renovation of the ancient site. Jagan highlighted that temples embody ancient civilisation and cultural heritage, and developing them in rural areas fosters spiritual renaissance, peace, and harmony in society.
