Vizag, February 26, 2026: Andhra University (AU) in Visakhapatnam gears up for a major two-day National Symposium on Advances in Scientific Research on February 27 and 28 at the AU Convention Centre on Beach Road.

The event doubles as a highlight of the university's centenary year and National Science Day observances.

Top scientists, including four Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award winners from IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, and IISER Tirupati, will deliver keynotes on cutting-edge topics spanning physics to biotechnology.

Day one features expert talks plus student-led science films and skits. Day two includes a Science Rally with 3,000 students marching to honor Sir C.V. Raman's statue, followed by more lectures.
