Amaravati, February 26: Andhra Pradesh delivered a standout performance at the IndiaSkills Competition South Regional 2025–26, held at Kanha Shantivanam in Hyderabad.
The state secured 23 medals in total: 2 gold, 8 silver, 3 bronze, plus 10 Medallions of Excellence. Strong showings came in high-demand areas such as Industry 4.0, Industrial Mechanics, Software Testing, Landscape Gardening, and Car Painting.
AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) officials praised the results as proof of effective industry-focused preparation, including rigorous selection, boot camps, and ongoing mentoring. Leaders noted the achievement reflects youth dedication and positions the state well for national-level contests ahead.
