Vijayawada, February 25, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's push for top national ranking in energy efficiency continues as APGENCO's in-charge Managing Director and AP State Energy Conservation Mission CEO P Pulla Reddy urged local industries and banks to step up capital flow into viable projects.

He pointed to more than ₹408 crore in energy-efficiency opportunities uncovered through earlier Investment Bazar events.

The state offers support via the ADEETIE scheme, delivering interest subvention of 5% for micro and small enterprises and 3% for medium ones in 14 sectors.

Compliance with the Energy Conservation Building Code has already led to over 1,800 approved buildings across urban bodies. Industries have saved 1.356 million tonnes of oil equivalent under the Perform, Achieve & Trade mechanism so far.
