Newsroom, February 21, 2026: Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju sharply criticised the Congress party on Saturday for a protest by its youth wing at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi.

He called the demonstration held on Friday at Bharat Mandapam during an event drawing global tech leaders a "well-thought-out conspiracy" to harm India's image.

Rijiju said the act was not a mistake but a deliberate effort, labelling it a "big sin" against the country and "shameful" use of youth to defame progress. He noted worldwide acclaim for India's AI leadership contrasted with the disruption.
