Amaravati, February 21, 2026: Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav told the state Legislative Assembly that multi-speciality hospitals in tribal areas previously sanctioned but delayed will now roll out in phases and become functional by the end of 2026.

The locations include Seethampeta (target June 2026, with an extra Rs 11 crore allocation), Dornala (July 2026), and Parvathipuram, Rampachodavaram, and Buttayigudem (all by December).

The current coalition government has committed additional funds, including Rs 15 crore beyond prior investments, to push construction forward where progress had lagged.
