Amaravati, February 21, 2026: The Bharata Chaitanya Yuvajana Party (BCYP), led by Bode Ramachandra Yadav, will stage the BC Simha Garjana public rally on February 22 opposite Acharya Nagarjuna University in Vijayawada.

Organisers secured court approval today after initial permission issues, clearing the way for the gathering focused on Backward Classes demands.

The rally seeks the enactment of a dedicated BC Rights Protection Law, boosted funding for BC welfare corporations, and a comprehensive state caste census to map population realities.

Leaders will press hardest for 44% reservation for BC communities in education, jobs, local governance, and legislative seats aligned with estimates of their demographic share, which many groups claim exceeds 50%.
