Amaravati, February 21, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education will implement live CCTV monitoring across all examination centres in Tirupati district for the upcoming Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026, following state government directives to curb malpractice and ensure fair conduct.
This first-of-its-kind measure, prompted by HRD Minister Nara Lokesh, covers 84 centres in Tirupati where over 60,000 students (around 30,000 first-year and second-year each) will appear.
Live feeds will enable real-time oversight from regional offices, backed by strict rules: no electronic gadgets allowed, Section 144 imposed nearby, zero tolerance for late entry, and threats of criminal action against any malpractice. The exams run from February 23 to March 24, in morning sessions only.
