Andhra Pradesh's HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed designs for a major State Central Library in Amaravati, aiming to make it a world-class symbol of the state's heritage.

Amaravati, February 21: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resource Development and Information Technology Nara Lokesh held a detailed review of the proposed State Central Library in Amaravati.

He met senior officials from the School Education department at his Undavalli residence to examine the building's design, video presentation, and conceptual plans.

Lokesh directed the team to position the library as a landmark that reflects Andhra Pradesh's rich history and cultural heritage. He stressed world-class standards, including advanced technological facilities, archives, an auditorium, and space for more than 15 lakh books.

The minister called for an inclusive approach to connect all sections of society and build a supportive ecosystem around the knowledge hub.
