Amaravati, February 20, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu oversaw the signing of seven MoUs at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi today. These deals focus on quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and youth skilling to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading Quantum-AI hub.

Partners include the United Nations International Computing Centre for a Center of Excellence in Amaravati, IBM to train 100,000 young people in AI, quantum, and cybersecurity, and the National Institute of Electronics & IT to establish a Quantum AI Deemed University in the capital region.

Other agreements cover an indigenous state-level AI tech stack with a Bharat Gen-NexGen-IBM consortium, AI academies and sandboxes in 50 colleges via Calibo AI, a Centre of Excellence with Vizer, and an AI Tutor program for schools through IIT Madras.
