Amaravati, February 20, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government issued orders on Friday appointing retired IAS officer Dinesh Kumar to head a one-man committee examining alleged lapses in TTD's ghee procurement process.

The probe focuses on administrative and governance issues, including any relaxations in tender rules, lack of due diligence, and procedural gaps by procurement committee members and senior officers.

The SIT highlighted irregularities in ghee supplies for the sacred Tirupati laddu prasadam and recommended action against responsible TTD officials. The committee can access records, seek clarifications, and involve experts with approval.
