Amaravati, February 20, 2026: YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu alleged a well-planned attack on his Guntur residence and camp office by TDP supporters, claiming the violence lasted nearly seven hours under police watch.
Rambabu, recently released on bail after 18 days in judicial remand, addressed the media after meeting Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, and Guntur West MLA Galla Madhavi of orchestrating the incident.
The attack followed a confrontation near a temple where his vehicle faced aggression, leading to his arrest over alleged remarks against the CM. He denied caste-based slurs, called the case politically motivated, and vowed legal action while stressing people's judgment in the end.
