Vijayawada, February 19: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu chaired the 15th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting, clearing 27 investment proposals worth Rs 29,021 crore.

The projects span IT, renewable energy, tourism, food processing, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, promising 22,407 direct jobs.

The board emphasised swift execution through a "Speed of Doing Business" approach, forming a Ministers’ Committee to monitor land allotments and cancel delays.

Focus areas include tourism clusters in Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati, semiconductor incentives, NRI investments, EV charging networks in major cities, and boosts to aquaculture and exports. Cumulative SIPB approvals now exceed Rs 9 lakh crore, targeting massive employment growth.
