Visakhapatnam, February 19, 2026: President Droupadi Murmu, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, reviewed the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2026 from the deck of INS Sumedha off the Visakhapatnam coast.
The event featured a massive display of naval strength, with around 71 vessels including India's indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant leading the line-up alongside warships from more than a dozen countries such as Australia, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and first-time participants like Germany, the Philippines, and the UAE.
Submarines surfaced, aircraft conducted flypasts, and commandos demonstrated precision drills in a coordinated spectacle.
