Amaravati, February 19, 2026: Officials in Prakasam district stepped up preparations for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's upcoming visit to Dornala mandal on February 25.
District Collector P. Raja Babu and Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju personally inspected key sites, focusing on security, logistics, and smooth execution.
The CM is expected to lay the foundation stone for a vital feeder canal. This project will channel water from tunnels in Dornala to the Sagar reservoir, boosting irrigation in the region.
Inspections covered the helipad, meeting venue, parking zones, convoy routes, entry-exit points, and nearby areas in villages like Gantavanipalli and Kothuru. The Collector urged faster progress on arrangements, while the SP stressed tight coordination across departments to avoid any gaps.
