Vijayawada, February 19, 2026: Speaking at the YSRCP office, former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy targeted Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over alleged ghee supply scandals.
He claimed a nexus between Heritage Foods and Indapur Foods surfaced through evidence of reversed disqualifications and inflated pricing. Reddy alleged Heritage shifted its classification to co-manufacturing after Indapur's role emerged, securing contracts at ₹650 per kg far above previous rates of ₹278–₹321.
He tied these issues to past decisions during Naidu's earlier tenure, including rejected tankers being accepted and favouritism toward select firms.
Reddy extended criticism to the 2026–27 state budget, labelling it deceptive with mismatched estimates, overstated growth, reduced welfare coverage, and unfulfilled promises amid rising debt.
