Ongole, February 19, 2026: The Aare Maratha and Aare Kshatriya Welfare Association led celebrations for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's 396th birth anniversary at Maratipalem street here on Thursday.

Community members and local residents gathered to offer floral tributes to his statue, reflecting on his enduring influence as a warrior king who championed guerrilla tactics, protected cultural traditions, and resisted external dominance through strategic leadership.

Association president Kale Srinivasulu highlighted Shivaji's spiritual depth, unwavering patriotism, and role in safeguarding Sanatana Dharma while building a foundation for self-rule.
