Amaravati, February 19, 2026: An APSRTC bus en route from Hyderabad to Anantapur overturned early Thursday on National Highway 44 near Itikyalapadu in Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana.
The driver reportedly lost control, possibly due to fatigue, injuring 20 passengers four in critical condition. No fatalities occurred.
Authorities shifted the injured to Kurnool Government Hospital and a private facility; all are now stable or under treatment. The driver faces police custody and investigation.
