Amaravati, February 19, 2026: Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu has called on the YSR Congress Party to apologise unconditionally in the Legislative Council and to Lord Venkateswara devotees worldwide for insisting no adulteration occurred in ghee used for TTD laddus under its previous administration.

The minister highlighted Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team conclusions, laboratory evidence, and admissions from former TTD officials confirming adulteration during that period.

He stressed that Heritage Foods never supplied ghee to TTD, countering opposition suggestions of current irregularities. TTD procures pure cow ghee via auctions at roughly ₹650 per kg, far below market rates of ₹1,000.
