Amaravati, February 16, 2026: Andhra Pradesh has allocated ₹100 crore in its 2026-27 budget to boost WhatsApp Governance, known as Mana Mitra, under the Real Time Governance Society.

This funding aims to expand the platform to deliver up to 1,000 citizen services, building on its rapid growth from 150 to over 900 services in under a year.

The initiative integrates the A.P. State Data Lake across 36 departments and 139 databases for real-time monitoring, AI-driven decisions, and seamless access reducing the need for physical office visits.

Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav highlighted this as a key step in data-driven, transparent governance.
