Amaravati, February 16, 2026: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) held a detailed review meeting today for the annual Teppotsavam, the sacred float festival at Swami Pushkarini tank in Tirumala.

TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary led the session, stressing zero inconvenience for devotees during the event from February 26 to March 2.

Officials discussed key preparations: a trial float run on February 23 to check logistics and capacity, maintaining proper water levels in the tank, full electrical illumination of the tank and floats, special pandals at Varaha Swamy temple and along the four mada streets, a robust public address system to share festival details, and strict security with lifeguards at entry and exit points.

No bathing in the Pushkarini will be allowed from February 20 to March 5, and select arjitha sevas stand cancelled to manage crowds.
