Vizag, February 16: The Indian Navy's Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam launches the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2026, a major showcase of global naval unity. Warships from around 70 countries, including the US, Russia, and first-timers like Germany, the Philippines, and UAE, join over 60 vessels and aircraft.

President Droupadi Murmu reviews the fleet at sea on February 18, with 71 ships lined up, featuring India's INS Vikrant and other indigenous assets.

Rehearsals are underway at RK Beach and offshore, building toward an International City Parade on February 19. The event, combined with Exercise MILAN and the IONS Conclave of Chiefs, emphasizes shared values in the Indo-Pacific amid common challenges like disasters and security.
