Amaravati, February 16, 2026: Bill Gates, Gates Foundation Chairman, visited the Real Time Governance System (RTGS) Centre at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat today. Accompanied by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, he reviewed key projects.

Gates praised the state's adoption of advanced technologies for citizen services, including the Data Lake for integrated data, WhatsApp Governance for quick delivery, and blockchain with QR codes for secure land records.

He called Amaravati's development "great work" and expressed satisfaction with the Sanjeevani digital health pilot, which tracks records to improve care.

Gates stressed affordable diagnostics to aid the poor and highlighted Andhra Pradesh's lead in AI-driven healthcare reforms. Naidu shared how early inspiration from Gates fueled the state's tech focus on education, agriculture, and health.
