Amaravati, February 16, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu called Amaravati a blessed abode linked to Lord Amaralingeswara during Maha Shivaratri celebrations at the Shivoham programme in Namburu, Guntur district.

He greeted devotees across the state for observing the festival with deep devotion.

The CM tied the capital's spiritual significance to its progress, highlighting temples like Srisailam, Pancharamas, and others for preservation. He announced plans for 5,000 Lord Venkateswara temples nationwide to create spiritual hubs.

Naidu stressed balanced growth in technology quantum computing, AI, data centres, green hydrogen alongside cultural heritage. He noted Bill Gates' upcoming Amaravati visit for collaborations in key sectors.
