Amaravati, February 16, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government is establishing international-standard facilities to accelerate quantum technology growth, officials announced during a faculty development program.

Mission Director of Amaravati State Quantum Mission and Amaravati Quantum Valley, C.V. Sridhar, highlighted the push for infrastructure that supports quantum computing, communication, and sensing.

He stressed India's potential to rank among the top nations and become a quantum computer exporter.

Vice-Chancellor V. Venkata Basavarao of Rayalaseema University linked the effort to national goals like Viksit Bharat and Viksit Andhra Pradesh by 2047, noting training for educators to build expertise.
