Amaravati, February 15, 2026: Major Shiva temples in and around Tirupati witnessed consistent devotee turnout for Mahasivaratri celebrations.

Highlights included special abhishekams, processions like Nandi Vahanam at Kapila Theertham, and night-long programs organized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams across the city.

Key sites such as Srikalahastheeswara in Srikalahasti, Kapileswara at Kapila Theertham, and Siddheswara in Talakona forest saw heavy participation, with visitors from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka joining locals.

Authorities arranged special buses and safety measures, including temporary closures at spots like Talakona waterfalls.
