Amaravati, February 14, 2026: YSRCP leader and former Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy sharply criticised the Andhra Pradesh budget for 2026-27, presented today, labelling it a "bundle of lies" that conceals more than it reveals.

He alleged the document lacks credibility, with altered format to skip mandatory 10-year comparative financial data, masking the state's true fiscal health.

Buggana pointed to unsupported growth claims compared to the Centre, questionable spending figures like ₹10,000 crore on Jal Jeevan Mission against the Centre's nationwide ₹8,500 crore, and a yawning revenue gap from last year's estimates.

He highlighted public debt exceeding ₹3 lakh crore with no transparent reflection, while claiming none of the coalition's election promises have been met, leaving farmers, students, women, and youth neglected.
