Amaravati, February 13, 2026: The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) today launched the SAAP League, a structured, statewide competition built to catch talent early and push it all the way to the top.

The league covers 31 sports, including beach, para and masters categories across all 26 districts. Athletes aged 12 to 20 will compete in district rounds, with top performers moving into high-performance pathways.

A ₹30 lakh prize purse and dedicated talent scouts will feed the best into SAAP’s academies for world-class coaching and support.

Sports Minister Mandipalli Rampasad Reddy called it a “unified pathway” for the state’s young athletes, while SAAP Chairman Animini Ravi Naidu said it directly backs Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of global success.
