Amaravati, February 13: IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh strongly condemned former minister Ambati Rambabu for making derogatory remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's mother during Assembly proceedings.
Lokesh questioned how such comments described dismissively as “two small words” could be taken lightly, calling the insult to a mother unacceptable in any context.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly amid heated exchanges, Lokesh clarified that the coalition government rejects vendetta politics but will act firmly against disrespect toward women, whether it involves the Chief Minister's mother or any other.
