Amaravati, February 13, 2026: Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna brought rare cheer to the Andhra Pradesh legislature on Thursday.

While catching up with TDP colleagues in the lobbies, he playfully called Madakasira MLA MS Raju 'Daaku Maharaj' for 'stealing' water meant for Hindupur.

Raju hit back with a grin, saying his backward area needed every drop. Balakrishna quickly added that both places deserved to thrive.

The group also ribbed the opposition YSRCP for its 11-minute walkout the day before. Earlier, Balakrishna met Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to push Hindupur's concerns. Talk soon shifted to his upcoming films, blending the actor and the lawmaker.
