Amaravati, February 12, 2026: YSRCP has raised concerns over Indapur Dairy and Milk Products Limited securing a fresh contract to supply ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at ₹658 per kg in December 2025.
Former TTD Trust Board chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy pointed out that the same Maharashtra-based entity supplied 16.50 lakh kg of ghee to TTD at ₹306 per kg in 2015, soon after Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu returned to power in the state.
The opposition party alleges the use of the Indapur name in tenders may obscure ties to a prominent Andhra Pradesh-linked dairy group, and questions the sharp price jump despite earlier claims that quality ghee cannot be supplied below certain thresholds.
