Amaravati, February 11, 2026: Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy reviewed preparations for Maha Shivaratri through a video conference, focusing on major Shaiva temples like Srisailam Mallikarjuna Swamy, Sri Kalahasti, and Kotappakonda.

He stressed that ordinary devotees deserve top priority, with no compromise on their safety, quick darshan, timely accommodation, and essentials like drinking water, milk, and biscuits, especially for those travelling long distances or observing vows.

The minister called for tight coordination with police, district collectors, and other departments to manage expected large crowds. He insisted on equal treatment for VIPs and common devotees, with darshan strictly by scheduled timings, no interference in traditional rituals, and strong sanitation efforts.
