Amaravati, February 11, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on February 10, pushing hard for statutory recognition of Amaravati through a dedicated Bill in Parliament.

He stressed that legal clarity would end years of uncertainty, restore investor trust, and enable stable long-term planning for the capital project.

Naidu highlighted how prolonged delays have hurt governance and growth in Andhra Pradesh.

He sought the Bill during the ongoing Budget Session's second phase and requested continued central financial assistance for infrastructure, alongside support for key entities like Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited.
