Vijayawada, February 11: The 102nd Gunadala (Lourdes) Matha festival wrapped up today at the historic hill shrine, drawing thousands of devotees over three days from February 9 to 11.

The event, honouring the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes, featured devotional hymns, prayers, and a solemn Eucharistic celebration led by Bishop Telagathoti Joseph Raja Rao of the Vijayawada Catholic Diocese.

He stressed brotherly love and equality amid India's growth as a major economy, while noting ongoing social gaps.
