Amaravati, February 11, 2026: Andhra Pradesh has set an ambitious goal to reach a ₹308 lakh crore economy by 2047, with per capita income climbing to ₹55 lakh.
Governor S. Abdul Nazeer presented this blueprint during the budget session, marking the state's transition from economic revival to sustained ascendance through Swarna Andhra 2047. Current GSDP stands at ₹17.62 lakh crore for 2025–26, showing 10.75% nominal growth.
It focuses on infrastructure, industrial growth, healthcare reforms like universal coverage up to ₹25 lakh for below-poverty families, and projects such as Amaravati Quantum Valley for AI and quantum tech.
