Amaravati, February 09, 2026: Indian clinical findings presented at the International Stroke Conference reveal that recurrent brain stroke affects as many as one in five patients nationwide.

Key triggers include stopping blood-thinning drugs, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and skipping lifestyle changes after initial recovery.

The data, shared during a session linking American and Indian stroke experts, highlights better imaging tools that extend clot-busting treatment windows and even apply select adult therapies to children when caught early.
