Vijayawada, February 09, 2026: Godrej Agrovet unveiled Takai, an advanced insecticide tailored for rice, powered by Cyclapryn technology from partner ISK Japan.

The product delivers quick pest knockdown and long-lasting control, addressing challenges in warm, humid, water-logged rice fields where pests strike year-round.

A company survey showed 77% of rice farmersprioritisee fast action, durability, and better crop health features Takai targets to cut input costs, boost yields, and enhance produce quality.

Plans are underway to expand approvals to crops like maize, chilli, soybean, and sugarcane. As climate pressures grow, tools like Takai signal stronger farm resilience and productivity gains ahead.
