Amaravati, February 09, 2026: Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that Eluru district has set an ambitious revenue target of ₹9,067 crore from horticulture this year.

This marks a significant jump from the previous year's achievement of ₹7,693 crore across 3.24 lakh acres.

The push aligns with the state's Swarnandhra@2047 vision, where horticulture serves as a major economic driver.

Plans focus on expanding cultivation of oil palm, cocoa, and coconut to raise farmer earnings through diversification and higher-value crops.
