Amaravati, February 09, 2026: Rayi Venugopal, the newly appointed state vice-president of the APNGOs Association, pressed the state government to appoint a fresh Pay Revision Commission (PRC) without delay.

He highlighted unresolved matters such as pending dearness allowances (DA), clearance of retired employees' bills, and the need for interim relief similar to steps taken in Telangana.

Venugopal made the appeal in Srikakulam after a bike rally by employee groups, stressing a preference for amicable talks despite government challenges.
