Kurnool, February 05, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath has pledged to transform urban spaces in Kurnool by developing six new parks across the city.

The initiative, part of the Smart City efforts, aims to expand green areas, offer spots for relaxation, and improve overall wellbeing for residents.

The projects include amenities such as walking tracks, outdoor gyms, and extensive tree planting. Bharath highlighted that previous neglect from 2019-2024 left maintenance behind, but the current government is prioritising quick action.

Works on these parks will finish within two months, setting a foundation for more green developments ahead.
