Guntur, February 05, 2026: Ambati Mounika, daughter of YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu, has accused Guntur West TDP MLA Galla Madhavi of directing a violent mob attack on their family residence and adjacent office in Guntur.

Mounika said the assault happened when only women and children were home. Attackers used iron rods and stones, forcing the family to barricade themselves in bedrooms for safety. She claimed the mob later set the office on fire.

Videos and photos, she added, show the MLA supervising the incident, with her husband also visible. Mounika criticized police for not acting on complaints or stopping the violence.

The allegations stem from ongoing political tensions between YSRCP and TDP in Andhra Pradesh, linked to recent remarks by Ambati Rambabu against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
