Parvatipuram, February 03, 2026: Superintendent of Police K.V. Madhav Reddy has warned that stern action will follow any violation of Section 30 of the Police Act-1861, which restricts unauthorized rallies, protests, and similar gatherings.

The measure comes amid concerns over political tensions and recent violence in other Andhra Pradesh districts, including clashes between TDP and YSRCP supporters.

The SP held a review with senior officers from areas like Kurupam, Gummalakshmipuram, and Palakonda. He stressed that hate speeches, unparliamentary language in meetings, and false information on social media will not be tolerated.

Leaders from all parties must follow rules to protect law and order, he said, while advising the public against joining restricted events to avoid legal trouble.
