Amaravati, February 01, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal immediately. He must hand over responsibilities to Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and report to the General Administration Department.

Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, M. Ravichandra (IAS 1996), has been assigned full additional charge as in-charge EO of TTD and directed to assume duties quickly.

This move comes as the ongoing Special Investigation Team probe into ghee adulteration in Tirupati laddu prasadam highlights lapses during Singhal's earlier tenure under the previous administration. The issue has drawn widespread attention to food quality standards at one of India's most visited religious sites.
